I’m running into an issue where my Anvil app seems to have disappeared from My Apps, and I’m hoping for guidance on recovery.
Here’s what happened:
- Two people were logged into the same Anvil account at the same time (lesson learned).
- We were both making edits concurrently.
- I received a “could not be saved” message.
- After refreshing the editor, the app no longer appears under My Apps.
- I now only see the “Create a new app / Start from template” screen.
I did not delete the app intentionally, and this happened immediately following the save failure. It seems like the project may have become orphaned or detached due to the concurrent session conflict.
Has anyone experienced this before, and is there a way for Anvil staff to:
- restore the app, or
- reattach it from backend/version history?
I’ve also reached out to Anvil support directly, but wanted to post here in case there are known recovery steps or similar experiences.
