I’m assessing whether I will endeavor to create a rudimentary CRM app for our company. I’m curious if anyone has an existing app I could use or examine as a baseline to start with.
You should be able to go well beyond rudimentary.
Have recently designed a CRM and combined ticketing app with integrated email and SMS handling.

Great, thanks. ‘Rudimentary’ is related to the fact that I am the entire dev shop and simply don’t have much time :-), hence I am hoping to keep it simple.
I’ll see if can twist the ticketing app to my requirements.

When I first started with Anvil I did think the same, but it is by far the fastest and easiest way to go way beyond rudimentary. You will genuinely surprise yourself.

The good thing about creating your own CRM with Anvil, is that you don’t need to create one big do-it-all app.
You can create many little apps, each one covers its own area, and they all share the same database.
You can use the Anvil Extra routing module to allow one app to show a link to a specific page/document/whatever of another app.
This makes the maintenance and the deep customization of any aspect much easier, and allows you to deliver each app when it’s ready instead of waiting for the whole mammouth to be ready.
I don’t know if I made a CRM with Anvil, but I know I made some of the parts of a CRM and much more.

Anvil is magic and amazing. You can build anything with it. My only caution is the number of bugs and outages that occur which may be an issue if you rely on the app in a business sense.
That aside, I’ve never used anythign like it. I wonder why the world isn’t using it frankly… you can build so much.

I am an ardent fan of Anvil. Yes, there are outages, but those are quite rare and in my experience, they’re addressed quite quickly. ‘Bugs’ - less of an issue, I’ve not found anything that is not addressed quickly and/or has a work around. The ROI using Anvil is quite remarkable.
