I have a domain with GoDaddy and an App on Anvil, but I cannot get it working.
I have tried the instructions on Anvil Docs | Choosing URLs. The DNS settings are correct according to those instructions and it seems to be directed to the Anvil app, but it just has the wheel loading of Anvil, but never goes into the site.
There seems to be a problem with the https redirection (according to GoDaddy support), but I have also looked through the Anvil forums and I cannot put my finger on what exactly is the problem. I suspect it has to do with the forced use of SSL that Anvil implements. Is there anyone that has successfully directed a GoDaddy domain to an Anvil App?

There is a delay on the Anvil side. Have you received the email from them that your custom domain is ready?
No, I haven’t received anything from Anvil. Is there something specific I need to do?
This is the message I got from the GoDaddy support team - not sure if it helps to clarify the problem or not:
We would suggest ensuring the host is not forcing HTTPS on the requests to allow the firewall servers to assist with the redirection protocol.
When testing the host server we are not seeing a valid SSL for this specific domain name.

I have reviewed the GD account but there was no active host server to review. If you could provide us access we can take a closer look and try to disable the host side redirect.
There’s nothing you need to do at this point. Anvil has to make some changes on its end, and in the past that can take a few days. You should get an email when they’re done.
If it’s been more than a few days, you could email Anvil support to check on it.
