Inspired by recent use of [SOLVED] in a topic title.
It turns out that there are a lot of solved problem in the Forum, but they are not readily identified as such in the listings. This may give the false impression that Anvil has a lot of unsolved problems, when in fact a great many (if not the majority) are solved. Solvers are thus not getting the credit they’re due, and new visitors may be getting an incorrect impression of the state of Anvil.
The standard answer is for the original poster to go back and edit the title. I will try to remember this for my future posts. Going back to a list of my earlier posts, it’d be a great time-saver to just click a check-box next to each one solved.
Having a simple check-box available during post creation/editing also makes it much more likely that posts will be correctly marked for subsequent reader(s).
