Impossible to add an index

  • Right click on a column header
  • Click on the checkbox to add an index
  • Click Yes to confirm
  • Right click on the same column header → the checkbox is checked (good)
  • Refresh the page
  • Right click on the same column header → the checkbox is not checked (bad)

I don’t know if the problem is the UI (the index is created, but the checkbox doesn’t show it) or the index is actually missing.

I’m going to guess the index is missing just because I have the feeling that my query is taking too long, but I may be wrong.

Please let me know if there is a workaround while I wait for the fix.

Does this resolve after some time? It’s possible that the index-adding is taking some time.

No, it doesn’t.

I also tried changing the number of visible rows, which fixes the broken sorting buttons (at least until they break again), but doesn’t fix the indexing.

Is there any workaround available while we wait for the fix?

@stefano.menci Can you drop an email to support@anvil.works with the ID of the app, the name of the table (and which database it’s in), and what column you’re trying to index?
