Import module error

Was it also the navigation module from the tutorial that is giving you problems?
What I did was similar to this answer (as I found on another thread),

One way to solve this problem is to import the navigation module from inside the button-click function, eg:

  def button_save_click(self, **event_args):
    from .. import navigation

    # ...
