First of all, thank you so much for all the feedback. We took that on board, so here’s an update for you:
@stefano.menci - Your one-click publishing is back, and is even easier than it was in the old editor:
You will also find that right clicking on a commit now presents sensible publication options (that actually work).
If your app is an old one (not using environments), then it works just like in the Classic Editor - right click on a commit to publish or unpublish it. If you want to explore the new UI, you can create a brand new app in the Beta Editor, or migrate your app to use Environments.

I’m going to close this thread, because the workflow is now completely different, it’s likely to confuse new visitors if they find it, and the discussions so far are no longer relevant to the updated UI. Please do create new threads for further feedback on publishing, environments, version control, and everything else.
