If used as the designers intended, Anvil row ids are, in fact, very reliable.

What if I am relying on the row ID?

I was reading this post and… Oops! What if I have already done it? I use it in SQL JOIN queries building the string out of the table and row ids. I knew I was playing with the fire, that’s undocumented stuff, but it works well and I couldn’t find a better alternative. I can’t ask you not to change it, but please let us know before you change the row ID management and how to fix the things that rely on it.
