The UK Python Association now has a node on the Matrix network with an open “community” room.
If anyone from here would like to join, you’d be more than welcome:

- Choose a matrix client. Element is the best known and has desktop, mobile and browser versions.
- Register an account on a matrix node. matrix.org is the best known open node but there are many others.
- Join our room. Its address is #community:uk.python.org
TLDR
- The UK Python Association is a UK registered charity. It’s the organisation behind PyCon UK. I’m one of its founders and current trustees.
- Matrix is a decentralised comms network based on an open standard. The standard is maintained by a UK non-profit community interest company.
