I need to access different secret values for each customer that uses the same code base though different deployment environments.

@p.colbert’s solution below looks like the way to do it, but their answer is from 2023 and I was wondering if this is still the best way?

In Getting the current environment, we see that we can get the name of the environment, as a string. In Using secrets from code, we see that a secret is addressed by name, i.e., by a string. Strings can be computed, e.g.,: full_secret_name = anvil.app.environment.name + '_github_token' token = anvil.secrets.get_secret(full_secret_name) You could use any distinguishing characteristic, in place of anvil.app.environment.name, if that’s appropriate in your case.
