The DropdownMenu component in the new M3 theme isn’t behaving as described in the docs which say:

When an item is selected, the second element in the tuple becomes the selected_value property.

Instead, it’s the entire tuple that becomes the selected value.

:thinking: That could be a better way to do it. It’s certainly more general.

:slightly_frowning_face: But it’s not backwards-compatible.

same probleme for me , i workrond using my_dropdown.palceholder
