Enabling "Send email from GMail"

I’m having trouble enabling the “Send email from your GMail address” part of the Google API service.

I click the green Enable button and a Google authorization window appears. I sign in and accept the permissions form and everything appears to be working. (I get an email at the designating gmail address alerting me that Anvil requested access.) But nothing changes in the Google API Services panel: it stays “Disabled” in the upper right of the “Send email…” panel.

I have reloading the page, and clicked to a different service and back, but it still says Disabled. I clicked Enable a second time and went through the GMail authorization window process again, everything happening the same way, but it still says Disabled.

I haven’t tested out yet whether it works despite saying it is Disabled.

Update: The Google email service is working. I was able to send a test email. So the only issue is that the Google API Service panel mistakenly says “Disabled.”

Well spotted, thanks for the report.

Hmm, it looks the same for me this morning, so far.

Update: There it is. A green “Enabled” now.
