[Beta] Make better use of vertical space

The new IDE has lots of improvements, but IMO there is one thing where the old one is better: there is more visible of the code pane.
The bottom pane (with the console etc) is opened automatically, eating into the vertical space for the code editor. This is especially annoying on smaller screens, like laptops.

I’d prefer some config option that enables the user to move the bottom pane to the old position (on the side), or maybe some floating thingy.

… and/or a shortcut to quickly toggle between full screen editor and full ide.

The pane for invisible components also take up far too much space. This was already the case in the old editor, but is even more obvious in the new IDE.
