Alerts disable mouse clicks on form components they overlay.
However you can still tab and shift tab to buttons and links on the forms beneath the Alert and interact with them using the enter key.

- Click the “Edit” article button.
- When the edit alert opens perform a “shift tab”.
- Hit the enter key a few times.
- Click cancel on the alert form.
the alert will close then open again. It will continue to do this for each enter you pressed in point 3.
You can interact with any clickable items on the underlying form in this manner.
